As of 2026, Mythos Food Production ships within Canada only. We offer various shipping rates at checkout with tracking numbers included. We hope to be able to ship internationally very soon so that everyone and anyone can enjoy our products.

What are the main ingredients in the baklava
The main ingredients we use are wheat flour for the phyllo, nuts (in most flavours), butter, lemon juice, chocolate (in some flavours) and various spices. All of these ingredients are certified organic
What does baklava taste like
We know it's hard to capture a flavour into words but we would say: It tastes crunchy and pastry-like on the outside yet pretty juicy since it is coated in a thin layer of syrup. Flavours will differ from one another but the general essence of baklava is nutty, sweet, aromatic, and quite rich
Is the packaging recyclable
Yes it is! The packaging is non-toxic aluminum alloy 41 which is easily recycled. Just give it a good rinse and you're good to go!
I have dietary restrictions, can I eat baklava
All of our product listings have an ingredient label displayed in the photos so please be sure to consult them when considering your personal dietary restrictions/preferences. Our baklava contains butter and gluten and of course, in most flavours, nuts. We will have vegan options soon!

How do I store the baklava
After opening, you can refrigerate the baklava and it is good to last for about a month. Since it has no preservatives keep it away from direct sunlight. You may notice that in rare cases the syrup has crystallized around the pieces - this is a natural reaction of sugar - it is still absolutely safe to eat (just as honey will form a thicker layer on top if not consumed for a while).
